Promise and Purpose
God gives us many promises in His word – promises to provide for us and protect us, to never leave nor forsake us. But the promise I hold to most is the great promise of that which will come when He returns to take us home. This is so beautifully illustrated in Revelation 21, here’s a snippet from verse 4: ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death ‘or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” I relish in this promise, it gives me hope and strengthens my resolve that one day my journey will eventually culminate into a beautiful everlasting experience dwelling with the Creator.
Until the Revelation 21 promise is a reality, may we seek and fulfill purpose. Let's endeavour to make our time here count for something so that at the end of it all, may we be at peace and confident to hear “well done.” I don’t know about you, but I am working for a well done!
With this in mind, I want to share my experiences and all that God has laid on my heart to help someone else along their own life journey.
Why share? because life can be tough and sharing our testimonies may give someone else the drive to keep going. Encouraging each other means we can all emerge as beautiful butterflies full of strength in our wings to soar. Strength gained from flexing our wings to burst from all the cocoons in our lives.
To put it simple, this blog is about walking in purpose and shining a light for Jesus Christ so others may want to know and be in relationship with Him.
I am happy you are here, read and share with me!
